How tard drop files are ?

I don't know what to start from because those drop files already making me sick to my stomach ..

Topaz has killed Elite Thunder 40~ times and he already got 2-3 Dragon staffs plus 2 books +41

and in our situation we have killed GFS nearly 85 times and the best drop we got are great fox items which it is nothing comparing to 45 items that half the game already got from the first days yimoogis cave came up,however. we have not even got 40 or 43 weapons from all GFS kills .

it is really annoying and really makes me bored. although i'm quitting till the drop files getting fix .

Bosses don't drop well on this server, DD "can" drop "ok" but its quite rare, usually the subs drop better.

Here's the figured.

GreatFoxBoss:
10% DropRate per stage and 100% DropRate on kill (140% Total drop)..
1 in 1 Items drop every time so that is 5x BenedictionOil, 5x WarGodOil and OilOfIntensity per kill
Drop 40, 43 Weapons, HArmour, Gems, Charms, GreatFoxItems.
GreatFoxSpirit ALSO special repairs every item each person has with them (1 durability per stage completion)

Elite Thunder:
100% DropRate on death (Normal)
Drops 45+ Items and Lv 40 Weapons.

So then Lets run some numbers, Aside from manually specified rates (Example 1 in 1 BenedictionOil) every item uses the same DropValue.

Formula:
DropValue / MassRate / GlobalRate / LevelRate / DropMofier / Player DropRate / HuntingLog Rate.


Actual Numbers
MassRate = 100% (Normal; its not a mass dropper)
Global Rate = 100% (Normal; No event on at this time)
Level Rate = 100% +(Extra 10% ~ 60% for level 1~6). (We'll use a level 0 Mob so 100% (Normal))
Player Drop Rate = 125% (Normal GameShop buffs)
Hunting Log Rate = 105% (Or 100% if nor completed.)
DragonStaff Drop Value= 200,000
GreatFoxSpirit = 95,000% Drop Modifier.
EliteThunder = 45,000% Drop Modifier.


GreatFoxBoss
Chance of DragonStaff for 1 complete kill of GreatFox Boss:

Stage Drop = 200,000 / 100% / 100% / 100% / 9,500% / 125% / 105% = 1 in 1604 chance per stage (4 in 1604 chance)
Death Drop = 200,000 / 100% / 100% / 100% / 95,000% / 125% / 105% = 1 in 160.4 chance of dropping

4/1604 + 1/160.4 = 0.8% of dropping a DragonStaff.

Summary GreatFoxSpirit with a complete kill has 0.8% Chance to drop a DragonStaff.

Elite Thunder
Death Drop = 200,000 / 100% / 100% / 100% / 45,000% / 125% / 105% = 1 in 338.6 chance of dropping

1 in 338.6 = 0.29% Chance

Summary Elite Thunderwith has 0.29% Chance to drop a DragonStaff.

Vipers subs are killed literally hundreds of times a day. For those slow, there are several per floor and the RS rate is less than GFS, of which there is only 1.

The subs in vipers drop better when farmed because the RNG dice is being rolled so many more times.

That is where the problem is. Kill 100 GFS and 100 VipSubs and you SHOULD get more loot from GFS.

But that isnt how the game works. The sub drops are OTT. Demonstrable ingame by the fact that the stronger guilds never leave the cave. They get best drops and best exp on the server there. This is wrong.

As the 2 posters above said , you are 100% better off killing in yims, getting 4/5 sub drops, and **** loads of exp, than you are taking the effort to kill one boss, and getting **** all ,

The drop rates if i read what you posted correct , are 0.29 for elite thunder and 0.80 for GFS , that is almost no difference, considering you will kill 5 subs in 1 good hunt , and not to mention the drop rates from the mobs ( which we all know drop a LOT ) , and the exp from the vipers as well, you are so blatantly better off spending your time getting more exp , and a much higher chance of an item in yims, than going to GFS, its utterly pointless.


Wow it can special repair my kit?? 80% of people are rolling in craftable sets which have no dura , so thats 5/10 of my items which i dont need spec repaired. The other one for 80% of those people is a non added shop bought armor.


Which as Adv mentioned, is why nobody is camping fox boss, and the top 2/3 guilds in game are camping vipers, and all the smaller ones are only wanting to hunt there.

Benes wgo's and inten oils are so common they are almost irrelevant

Well damn, 4 or 5 Subs which cannot drop higher than a Slayer.

If you can kill DireSpider (Harder than GFS)than you deserve to have a chance at SOWG etc.

Given the calculations for a dragon staff good luck on getting a HA/43 wep from a boss (i must of been extremely lucky for my sowg from DD)

Come on Jamie you have played many servers before yourself, these subs rates compared to bosses are ridiculous. 1/160 from a boss that takes a group to kill, spawns every 2 hours, compared to a sub boss, that spawns 10 times as many as the boss (5 in total across all floors, every 1 hour)

Given you calculations for a 40 wep, i imagine the difference between the direspider and GFS, will be similiar (around 2.5x less often) but given the number of direspiders u can kill compared tothe GFS again direspiders win.

Yims is the only place worth hunting, full stop. Good exp, good items, why go anywhere else
