Easist way to look at this:

Server boots up, 73 log in, within 5 minutes that number increased x5. Natural player login or login on main and log my miners in?

what you missed was that was actually when the server crashed, theirs also another crash on that chart on the right, which collapses down to 199 players, and another crash before the one you're looking at right there, during all of these crashes the server has never ever hit 0 players according to that chart.

In-fact if you look at the "Last Down" that was at 14/09/2024 01:11 on that chart, still never hit 0 players during the crash.

Because of this miners i see the others server dropped to 0 players, he steal all the players from the others servers....

Well either way the servers crashed 3 times since the 9/10/2024, can check discord too.
Still aligns with what I've said with the 3 crashes happening and not being properly logged to the chart.

Of course,it's real. Tai clearly stated that any false inflated user counts would be removed from mir tracks in this thread.

I'm yet to find, or see, any evidence that the usercount is fake.

Staff need to clamp down on this, It's a paid service that LOMCN provide being abused that only negativily effects the dwindling community. Another important question you should be asking @BlackWizz is who is @Cherophobia's main account.

-Track unqiue IPS instead of flat connections.
-Add graphs to each server on MirTracks, peak times, peak days etc.

Even if this server only had 50 or 100 users, it would still be top of the list next to the two only other Mir2 servers paying to display their u/c. The fact is that it is still the most populated server, you can log in and see this and see that the majority of them are miners too.


"Staff need to clamp down on this" How? You've already pointed out that we can't enforce code changes on open source files. When people inflate their user count with code, this is easy to spot and take action against as I have in the past. What Armageddon is doing is called a loophole.

We all know if there's a way to cheat the system / loophole, someone always will take advantage of it.

Maybe start looking at this as a character count rather then a user count and with that in mind, most of us if not all of us have used other accounts dedicated to mining whist lvling up a main account in the past. So we can all be countable towards user counts like this.

faking a usercount, in @Tai's defense will be when a player sends back to the port a usercount that isnt correct of all the players online.... those screenshots show players/bots online so the usercount is actually correct... there are over 500+ PlayerObjects on this server. but no one believes this is 500+ playing people, we havent seen those numbers since Chrons and EliteV2 which isnt even allowed here.

Its not a true representation and there is NOTHING LOMCN can or will do about it as it is wholey dependant on the trust of the GM... and when your VIP title (which was earned for helping members of the community) is stripped because you accuse a staff member of shitty behaviour what do you expect from the site in terms of accuracy? LOMCN will never be the site it used to be and now its just an advertising pool for cashcows.

I loved this forum, it was a great place to talk with like minded people and i still take a look every day, but since the behaviour of certain members of the forum have been brought into question, im no longer willing to advertise or even help working with people here anymore.

Ill be banned soon because i have nothing good to say about the forum anymore... Its quite sad really

Worth considering also the chart is likely not gathering data constantly in real time, lets say it scrapes the info every 5 - 10 minutes for example. If the server crashes, and is put back online again between scrapes the chart isn't going to capture it

Change the mir tracks string format to look only for a "V2" and put out the new connection code which looks at distinct IP's and provides the V2 string.

Anyone who updates their string format but doesn't implement distinct IP system can easily be seen by screenshots like above that show obvious mining accounts. The servers also output logs of every IP connected, so this can also be provided as screenshot evidence.

When Chrons was live, if we outputted UC based on unique IPs our count would have likely been 1/3 lower than it actually was due to the chinese players all connecting via the same VPN, or people playing from the same house.

This way is just as flawed as the current way imo, not worth the effort changing it

The reason you took my VIP title is because i called out Martyn on the shitty thing he did on BansheeV2 making items for friends, this was all handled behind closed doors because for some reason SPL1FF didnt want to give you the evidence. I dont know the whole story but i know enough that anyone who knows me knows i would help ANYONE who asked for it, ive helped people i dont even hold in much regard.

You threw back in my face about the donations that were raised for me when i became homeless which i didnt know about, and then acted like i wasnt allowed to voice my opinion on shitty behaviour because people actually put thier hand in thier pocket and helped me. You dont know me Tai but ill never be able to express how greatful i am to this community for what they did for me.

Integrity is knowing something is wrong and standing by it, you know people have acted like **** on this forum and dont deserve to be here for thier behaviour!

Jev who yeah is OCD in the way he is, is an amazing lad with alot of free time and chooses to spend that time on the things he loves, which is clearly mir.

You have players like LOMValk who paid a coder to make him cheats for his own server and got a Known Cheater tag but still functions with no recource on the forum.

You even allowed a VOTE for the forum on how it should "police" its servers, which was by far the most rediculous thing to have happened on this foum.

The forum is a place for people to voice opinions but i dont believe it should be a democracy where the majority vote carries the rules... you set clear rules and abide by the punishments.

I dont know weither its day or night on this forum anymore.

Not sure why would you give a single F for a title.

You do you, make a great server, people will appreciate you regardless of any reject in here holding an Admin power.

Nontheless, it is really helpful to advertise your server in here as it will bring people on and start a chain effect on gaining more players/boosting the UC.
