Anybody watching this? Its called The Big Walk

Bunch of fatties that are too lazy and weak to lose weight, the dietrition leaves them a long for a day so they can exercise their willpower and they start scoffing Mc Donals, big breakfasts, booze, danishes its just ridiculous.

Give me a fcuking cattle prod and i will sort them out. Actually i would pay.

I dunno Stonehelm, have you ever been in their position? If obesity is a disease, like in the sense of alcoholism and chain smoking, then there are underlying psycological problems and difficulties that are hard to understand by anyone that has never been in the person's position and very unfair to judge too.

I do find them lazy and ridiculous personally, but I believe that help should be offered and that it is never too late to change. There should be more out there for people who want to change but never have the motivation and guidance.

ps - I've never seen the program lol, so bit stupid of me to comment, guess I'm gonna go watch the next episode, see if its any good.

Ah channel 4, my bad. I just dont get it, they are walking a long but they are drinking coke, drink water ffs.

I realise obesity is a problem but some of them are just lazy, one woman went to the local nurse to see about some fungal infection and the nurse said its fine, just wash her feet and take some pills and said she doesnt need to stop walking. She went back to group and said the nurse told her to take time off or she would get really ill, then she plans to fcuks off to a night club.

If your allowed to say to people "stop smoking your kiling yourselves!" i dont see why we ent allowed to say "Stop eating your killing yourselves!".

Obesity is a disease but it can be cured by some hardwork and will power.

She needs liposuction with a blunt skew.

Yes.
lol made me laugh watching it yesterday.

I dont know why but i always feel more sorry obese guys then women.

They generally seem more inclined to lose weight and make a go of it.

Top program though for some comic factor.

There's people who are obese because of their DNA
There's lazy fat people
There's then theres fat people who want to do something.

I havent watched the show, but if these fat *******s have been given this opportunity to sort themsevles out and are pissing it away, they should **** off and die of a heart attack.

I bet there were a few hundred people trying to get on that show, and im sure many of them would be more than willing to take the place of the hams who complain.

Problem is"good TV" nowadays appears to be getting as many arseholes into some "reality situation" so conflict occurs.

Thats why all those shows like Supernanny, and "you are what you eat" suddenly seem to have real dicks on them I find it odd that this seasons offering of those 2 shows have had a part in every episode where the person has "slipped up and gone back to their bad ways"

Then, they confess all and in an emotional and heartbreaking way they realise their problems (which were outlined at the begning of the show to them) and vow to change so they dont let anyone down.

Channel4 spawns **** TV, its all reality ****, with a bunch of ****s in it. Channel4 should DIE

On second thoughts.

They should roast a pig and tie it to the back of a car, and make them chase it.

AGREED 100% I must admit I'm a smoker and I really wish I never started... Though I am the few people who want to stop for the right reasons if only the NHS would help under 18's...

What I hate most in world is, smoking in public ( ok maybe it's passive unlikely obesity, but both are bad for you never the less) and you get looked down upon by passers by, but yet not more than 4ft away is a obese person and no one gives them a second thought. Up to now I've never been looked at by an obese person for smoking but if I ever was I'm sorry but I'd have to comment on the size of thier ass.

The NHS can't make you stop and there isn't a miracle cure for it. Also, some people are obese due to hormone imbalace/chemical inbalance/DNA/Illness etc, unlike smokers these people didn't have a choice, and nobody gets fat to be cool.

ALL smokers start because they want to be "cool" and its been that way since tobacco arrived in thr UK for the first time. The only people that didn't do it cos it was cool, were the first Upper-class people, they did it because it was a new experiance, and didn't understand the health risks, everyone else followed the trend.

The NHS can't make you stop smoking no ofc but they can help,no there aren't no miracle cures, but every little helps and with enough will power and support behind you there is a good chance of coming through ( oo and before people say stupid stuff like "If you want to stop that much, just stop" I'm sorry to inform you but 'cold turkey' ain't the way forward). As for the "Also ,some people are obese due to..." well tbh thats only half chance majority of the population who have something wrong with them to cause thier obesity, the other half are ignorant to the fact that being obese is a growing problem. It's not that there ain't any help for people who suffer from obesity, the fact is most of them either don't want to lose weight until thier 45st + and have been told by professionals that they will die if they keep living the life the lead or they think it's too late and there is no point in trying to reverse what they have done to thier body over the years.

The fact is smokers get bad press while obese people get a sympathy vote. Ok maybe the NHS has spent millions of pounds on commercial adverts in attempt to stop smokers but like we've both agreed "The NHS can't make you stop smoking" but this is no where near the effort they do to help people with obesity. I really dont have much sympathy for most obese people as it's there own fault (as well as media) they are the people you seen at McDonalds enough of the time and never see them step foot near a gym.
