okay guys, i've had a mooch around the internet and tried to find this phone as cheap as possible, the best i can find it is around £248 off Ebay.

So if you guys can help find me this phone any cheaper or just under that price that would be awesome, bearing in mind i don't want a contract, and i want it to be either o2 or unlocked.
Seen as it's payday on Friday i will be ordering one then. :P

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

They're not actually as much of a phone as you'd expect kud, you might be let down by it in the long run. It's pretty much idential to the k800i but bigger.

They're dropping in price like crazy at the moment, vodafone were doing them on £20 a month contracts, I took advantage of this when they first came out (bought a 12 month £20 a month contract and sold the phone for £300) now I have a "free" contract with £60 profit, but those are the kind of deals I have to look out for. We obviously couldn't compete with that.

I wouldn't reccomend the phone to you bud, but the prices are dropping so fast at the moment. £248 is a good price though, if you really want it.

I wouldn't recommend going for it, wait for the N95, that's going to be a giant price though, but it looks very promising, especially the VGA camera

well thing is guys, phones really do get on my nerves (well trying to find the right one does anyway)

i would be really grateful for your advice.

The thing is, i don't majorly use my phone (except for it's phoning and sms capabilities) i wouldn't use a walkman/mp3 function, it doesn't need a hugely great camera just a decent one, frankly i couldn't care less about blogging, i don't need wi-fi on it, and all i really use it for is texting people and making the odd phone call, thats why i don't really wanna blow nearly half my wages on a phone.

However i require a decent looking phone (i know some clever dick will just suggest a really basic old phone), and it must have a good screen quality.

If anyone could find a nice phone to suit my rather...nitpicky needs, that would be awesome :P

there are two possibilities here...
you either typed the wrong model number, as the 8210 (according to google image search) has an old screen, i would be VERY surprised if it had bluetooth, and definately would not have a camera

OR

you were trying to be clever...

please enlighten me.

tbh tho nokia is going down hill with there new phones.

i did not like the n70 n73 an all them as my gf/s bros got 1 and his case just decided to drop off 1 day so he got it replaced and got the n73 an now the buttons r falling off.

tbh i wud get a k750i v good screen quality got a 86 mb card in there 30 mb on phone it has a mp3 player which i know u didnt want but u cud use like 2/3 songs on there as msg tone ring tone and alarm (thats wot iv done) good picture quality (on the monitor they dnt look as good but printed off are useable) v cheap can get it on a orange contract of £20 a month with sumin like 500 texts 200 mins (not bad as the phone will come free) or if u wanted just a bigger memry card the w800i phone exacly the same as the k750i just bigger memry card (512mb) store more pics on ect ect. reasonabley good looking and aint to bad of a phone had mine for 2 yrs not 1 problem at all.

my thoughts or even going for somethin like £150 -£200 on ebay with box.

but think tho £150 off ebay + cred of £10 a month = £270 on contract £20 a month will end up as £240 which is a v good deal

everyone i know has a sony ericsson phone now as they seem alot nicer than nokia (nokia have gone more business now than person)

I have a k800i (one of the best on the market for functionality), a 8800 (simply for looks) a d900 (mid-way) and a 6230i.

Now, every phone salesman needs to have a 6230i... purely because it's one of the best phones ever to be made, i'd argue THE best. It's everything you need in a phone, beautiful design, camera, bluetooth, perfect navigation and one of the hardest phones to break due to it being a candy-bar phone with no annoying flip system, and having the cheapest parts to replace. It's amazing value for money and you can't really go wrong buying one.

If you want to buy a phone that will get you noticed by all means don't buy a 6230i, but if you want a phone that will do everything you need, save you money for something else and be a reliable and long-lasting solution, it's the phone for you.

Otherwise k800i or d900 :bounce:

i wud say the k800i as i have 1 at the moment an no sony ericsson phone has let me down. altho like i said thers only a few differences between the k800i and the k750i which is that the k800i has a better camera (3.2 MP) the k750i has (2 MP) and he k800i has a bigger screen but the same quality screen (256k colours) just the k800i looks better as its spread over a bigger screen.

tbh if ur not looking for much go with the k750i u wudnt have any problems with it its a nice phone pretty cheap an everythin u described in 1 of ur posts
