i used to have a 2.0 vectra, not a bad car but quite a few things went wrong with it, vauxhall vectras always go wrong, i even belong the vauxhall owners network forums here:
http://www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk/
loads of info on the vectra's are on there
read up mate, your in for a rough ride with the vectra trust me on that one, and i also dont understand how you have the insurance in your name?
that must be costing you about 1 - 1.5k per year to insure at your age?, i cant be far off as i had a vectra at 27 and it was costing me a fortune fully comp
anyway, it doesnt matter what people say here, its a nice car, well done to you iam sure you will enjoy it, but because of the problems vectras always have with there notorious (sp) management system, throttle idle valves, gear box's and many many other things i would get another motor.
ive got a co car now, so the vectra has gone and what a weight off my shoulders that was.
