DM2-TheDeaths Files- Black Screen (Wierd)

Ok, getting black screen

Before you say

1)Disable Unpnp
2)NO ERRORS on games
3) Every gate is connected, includeing GameGates
4)No errors on anything.

to my knowledge everything is running smoothly

when i try connect, don get no welcome box,

but my gamegate does do this

[6:37:23 PM] Connected: ****** (My IP Address)
[6:37:34 PM] Disconnected: ******* (My IP Address)

obvs me connecting and disconnecting,

i am completly stumped, all my prior private server knowledge (been usin 1.9 for lyk 2 years), says i shud be able 2 connect
been through all IP's/Paths, everything is right.

any idea's?

I am completly out lol, there's no reason why this shud be happening
it cant be cuz of lack of resources, as runnin on a dedi with
3.6ghz
2gig ddr
100mb line

so cant be that :P

Have you updated Mir2 to Euro? I'm using TD's files and I updated Euro and now the client is black screen at login.

Okay, really ****ing me off now.

Dunno WTF is DM2's problem with my dedi, but its ****ing annoying.
I have no error's, at all

Only thing i can say is out of the ordinary is on dbserver

At top right, it says 0/0/0/0 all the time. on 1.9's this would change constantly, this is only thing i can think of that wud be causeing this problem, i am deffinalty useing right exe, as wen i try others i just get conn closed, so must be usin right exe to get this far.

it's either that or TD's coded into it "Dont let me use" -.-. lol, how wierd and unreal and ****ing annoying this bug is :P.

=/ All gates are open!, arg! frustrtated now lol.


Edit- It may be, because were useing MYSQL (as dedi doesnt run MSSQL), but then again, TD must of had it working on MYSQL, to off posted the guide =/ so, ive tried again re-setting up all the files, still no joy.

ok,

i think td's files have a guide for setting up the files for mysql, but if your not having any problems pop up with regards to the database then i doubt this is the issue,

quite a simple thing but have you checked the firewall is allowing the trafic of out going and incoming connections to the ports the server needs ?

ports 7000 7100 and 7200 , i would imagine if your using a dedi box it will be on a router but iam not 100% on that lol you may have to forward ports

also are you 100% sure you have set it up for online use, for example changed the ip's in the files to the hosting servers ip addys?

if the dedi box is being fed via a router it should have an internal ip addy, make sure the ip's in the server files have the internal ip's and in a few places you need to place the servers external ip's

if it has an internal ip the ports 7000 7100 7200 need to be forwarded to the internal ip number of your dedi server to allow you to connect to the server

last but not least and please dont feel insulted but make sure you have configured your ini files to connect to your server and make sure you have the server name in there mate

a screen shot of all of the gates running would be good also if you can provide one

Not on any kinda router thingy, and dont need to forward ports, just asked the dedi company.
