Wrong.
If we switch, en masse, to renewables, the demand for the petrol will fall, and so will the price.
Thus, the Arabs & Oil companies would attempt to silence any economically viable alternative.
The "Arabs" only have around 20yearish of oil to provide the worlds demand anyway, and tbh wouldn't you think the major companies that provide OIL will also provide this new source of energy? because they are multi-billion doller companies lol.

your comment with 'petrol will inevitably run out', yeah ofcourse it will, just like the sun will eventually burn out. its not like we're in short supply of oil, the high prices are because of oil mainly being in arab country, and not so much in uk country.

Just a cheeky 1.6, but it's been fitted with a turbo and tuned, it's pretty nippy.
