Argentina are a good outsider if your a betting man.

Good odds, and a team you should never write off. I got Messi to be top scorer 20/1 with £5 E/W. They have an easy group, if he can bang about 4 goals in during these 3 games he should easily get int othe top 4 which is needed for E/W bet.

Argentina have potential but Diego Maradona suprisingly seems to not have a clue what he's doing tbh.

He cud play something along the lines of:

Aguero (RM) Mascherano (CM) Cambiasso (CM) Messi (LM)

Tevez (ST) Milito/Higuain (ST)

Instead he opts for people like Jonas Gutierrez and Veron lol, being a Newcastle Utd fan I know Gutierrez is far from good enough to play for Argentina.

Which is probably why they only qualified luckily through the play off spots, don't get me wrong they can be world class on their day, but personally I don't think theyr'e going to be consistent enough to win the full comp.

You never know though, they could be the team to cause an upset and worth a little flutter with good odds.

Spain and Brazil will be the obvious favourites to an extent it's pointless betting on them unless you are willing to pile a good amount on them.

Spain are the most qualified to win the tournament, having the best team and having played in South Africa already (confederations cup) saying that I don't believe they will win the tournament.

Brazil are a compact team that lacks the attacking flair of the previous brazil teams but they are alot better in defence and still have the ability to score goals. Saying this i feel that any of the tops teams could put them out easily.

The Germans, i feel are the team to be on. 14/1 is a big price and they have there squad and players basically picked from the start of qualifying. They only used 27 players in qualifying and Klose scored 7 goals.

Germany do have an ackward group with Austrilla, Serbia and Ghana. They should qualify with either serbia or ghana following them out. When have the germans in recent memory ever not turned up for a major tournament 14/1 is a massive price

the germans are always there or there about i agree but i cant think of 1 world class player they have, i think spain have the best chance of winning it they ever have and i think david villa will be top goalscorer. top goalscorer will deffo be a spanish player imo their supply is just simply to good, its dreamteam standard.

When Fabregas struggles to get into the starting line up, it shows how much quality they have in central midfield with Xavi and Iniesta.

Villa & Torres upfront is a frightening attack, something we're used to saying about Brazil.

England v Spain Final would be immense :p

We'd torture them if we adapted to alex fergusons 4-5-1 with rooney on his own, lampard and gerrard off him barry holding and milner left and walcott right. That would ownnn!

Torres is always injured, xavi wudnt get the space to cunjure up his usual passes if their were 5 in midfield and u cud quite easily bully david villa

I don't think he's always as injured as people thing, Rafa red nose just wraps him up in bubble wrap.

Iniesta & Xavi would tear our team to pieces, 5 in midfield or not.

Exactly he never ever plays 90 minutes and he still gets injured all time, reminds me of Dyer or Owen.

Spains strength? Scoring goals
Spains weakness? Conceding goals

Englands strength? Clean sheets
Englands weakness- ??????

Okay.. Maybe they would, maybe they wouldn't, I'm English and IMO, they wouldn't.
