Three/Four New Hunting Areas
This patch will include three (or four if you count Path to hell and the demon realm as two different caves) new hunting areas to test the abilities of all players across all levels and skill.

Path to Hell and the Demonic Realm are designed for the higher end players (45+ so get levelling) and contain a joint number of 8 New Monsters, 5 New Subs and 2 Mains (BDD style for the upper end).

Numa desert is designed for the mid range/solo leveller who wishes to spend some time in solitude.

Finally Oma Lair is designed for the lower levels with a semi hard boss (OmaWarLord), designed to be a alternative to Insect Cave and Khazard.

Ten New Skills (2 per class)
Each class has been provided with two skills each, a brief description below:

FrozenSword:
A hard hitting, varied length, delayed strike with a chance of slow.

SlashingBurst:
A hard hitting, delayed shoulderdash, that pushes opponents either side of the caster as he barges through a crowd.

Hemmorhage:
A hard hitting, delayed strike, which can be doubled up with Ghost or Moonlight to cause increased damage.

Ghost:
A camouflage skill that enables the caster to appear invisible from players and monsters if they are of a distance (will be seen if you get to close).

Thousand Swords:
Summons the swords of fallen Taoists to create a small area of damage.

EnergyShield:
A castable skill that enables its host a revival chance whilst the shield is active.

TwinFireDrake:
Two very powerful strikes of damage, with a delay.

Magic Booster:
A buff skill that increases magical damage.

AttunedBody:
Much like AttunedMind, AttunedBody will regenerate HP over time.

IceTrap:
A trap skill, walking close enough to a set trap will inflict damage and chance of slow.

Refinery
Refinery for both weapons and gems will be available in this patch...

Unlike traditional gem crafting, success rate now depends on the quality of Ore/Items provided for both weapons and gems.

Province Lords
An old favourite makes a return, kill a large number of the provinces main boss and a Lord is likely to appear to wreak havoc upon the towns people.

Items
100+ new items for level 35+ players.

Quests
Tons of new quests to keep you entertained for hours, including quests for each new hunting ground.

wtb ghost x

Also, these 35+ items, hope they are not going to make all of the current rare gear such as SR's, baektagloves etc dirt now as would just mean ignoring bosses for now and just lvling till 2.0.

Guessing the skills are going to be aimed at high 40's? Slashing burst according to site is a 50 warr skill if I recall and hemmorhage, 47 on USA.

Is there any cap for the amount of stat can be added for refine?

Can tell these spells are going to cause a lot of whines, but good news nonetheless.

Everything is looking good, only question I have is how rare are these items going to be? what sort of stats will the 35 ones start with? is it going to make our current kits redundant?

wrong thread, this one about the planned v2 not adjustments
looks to me like the community is equally divided about books in shops so less than 3/4 of voters for the proposal is a stalemate which means nothing happens.

Looks excellent team, good work.

This will likely bring alot of players back and breathe a bit of life back into the server.

All sounds really good. I would question on the refines if fails break weapons? Are the items gonna random drop from world mobs or bosses only? Keep updating server as at the moment it rocks? Cheers Sam and Team.

Just hope the skills are not stupidly high level.... Especially the sin skills, I mean a stupid copy of what moonlight should do at 36, not 50 odd...

Also can you run while using ghost? Or isit really just moonlight?

But great work guys nice!

Looks awesome.

I just hope that these new places require the kit that we haven't got yet as it's far too early for such a huge content update. Most people have hardly dipped their nose into orcs. Nevermind killed the boss.

Re: Mir Chronicles - Path to Hell - Patch 2.0 - Coming Soon

Hey Samuel,

Thanks so much for this, we needed some positive news after all the drudgery happening lately. All looks really cool but is it possible to add an improved UI as with all the new skills us Tao's dont have enough hotkeys to assign all of our spells at the same time. Plus the UI feels very outdated. Once again thanks dude and keep up the good work.

More hotkeys(Up to F12) is a good idea, such a pain in the ass pressing control F4.

Re: Mir Chronicles - Path to Hell - Patch 2.0 - Coming Soon

in the 2.0 patch the displacement bug when rightclicking and shift chasing a player when it glitches will be fixed? will the patch change
the cluckyness of chasing players gets annoying when it stands still displaces or does nothing

Finally I can guess what Sam is thinking. He wants to see how the players are exploring the new maps with new skills? I am not sure
