Serious suggestion about forum mods

made your post more accurate. An even better representation would be 'the rest of team jump on the Forums and Slander/troll/epeen wave/ego bash everyone else. What makes it worse is then everyone else retaliates.
Looking at the top 5-6 threads - 3 are locked, and 2 are troll wars. The other is this one. What does that tell you . . . .

I've never said mods/admins can't play the games or have an opinion, I just don't think they should use or abuse their power in order to back up their own opinions or further their own personal ends.
Is that not something you would agree with?

Ok i think best way for this to pan out is for people that are stating facts back them up with evidence

Forum is now a carebear forum, banter and sly digs are not allowed (except by mods themselves) whilst I agree actual abuse should be moderated, it's gotten to the stages where discussions that get a tad heated or anyone wishing to rile up other players (from any guild) is responded to with infractions and locked threads.
It just seems to me a lot of fun has been sucked out and a big part of what mir used to be has been lost cos people want a dull forum where everyone smiles at each other answers questions politely and and is generally false.

Making each thread a flame war is fking annoying... team are major culprits for this then when people retaliate thread gets locked, pissing annoying.

This is not the case at all, the only time something gets moderated is when its a personal attack and a warning has been ignored or the conversation has gone waaayy off topic.
Which pretty much occurs in every single thread within this section.

Every guild is guilty of it! Just because team are experts at setting out a line and bait doesn't mean you have to take it. I've seen perfectly reasonable threads ruined by just about anyone, it used to make me die a little inside when id say on teamspeak ahh guys come on it's not worth arguing over and 5 minutes later this thing just explodes.
Tai being tai, is all. Admin or not, he banters like everyone else. He's a human like everyone else [Well.. within reason]. He still infracts and does his job and runs the forum, why shouldn't he have a laugh and join in now and again?

No one is complaining about admins having banter, but its when it suits them. Locking threads just so they can get the last words in, then infraction others for also giving banter, I remember tais nerd rage in a sale thread with forsaken members, argueing for 2 pages. It's fine for you guys to do but when you have some sand in your vaginas you go all power crazy.
The last post pretty much sums it up. Have rules, enforce them, don't then act as if you're also above them. Practice what you preach.
A moderators post on a thread lock is the last word, it's not them getting the last words in, it just literally is the last words. Mine normally are thread locked, or the reason why it's being locked aswell. I've been accused of being power crazy, corrupt the works, yet you guys fail to realise the abuse most of us get from PM's from thread locks, it's not "sand in our vaginas" at all, it's us having to tolerate a very childish community in this section. Most people just end up very very butt-hurt if they get infracted or locked and didn't get to say everything they said, they feel it's their right that they can continue a thread that's spiralled out of control or is full of abuse. Some mods allow the odd flame comment, others join in.
Most can't understand banter from just pure abuse, because for some reason they were born lacking respect and courtesy (No doubt this'll be linked saying well if it's not given why should we give it back etc. I really don't care, that's a whole topic of debate for another time). but overall this thread just screams of people being unable to concept why they've been infracted or why their threads been locked, yet with tai's posts I haven't yet seen any out of control posts, i've seen the odd image post that's made me think "oh tai" but that's just tai. He does it now and again, other than that he does his job and a lot of background stuff people don't see aswell.

Whats frustrating about all mods primarily Tai is the inability to moderate on neutral ground. You are forum "police" your views and opinions are irrelevant if your going to lay down your policing abilities in any certain thread.
You should chose when entering a thread if you are going to be on or off duty, not pull out an infraction because you have been schooled in the art of debate or booted from a guild and them spam/troll a thread and get away with it.
Double standards are quite a dislike of mine.

I think I pissed someone off and list my 10 year legacy title. Cry babies. Never a ban on this server and only one I've seriously cheated on I admitted to it as it was to aggravate a corrupt gm. Children and their power!

RE the Forsaken argument, I had the right to defend myself against bullshit and another mod closed the thread afterwards. Staff or not I won't be slandered
