  1. Playing Mir on a Mac help

    I used Boot Camp Assistant to dual-boot windows onto a Mac. It was probably 6-7 years old at that time and the fan would get extremely hot after five ten minutes of playing. Wasn't worth it in the end. Could have been an issue with my Mac though and YMMV.

  2. VMware Fusion vs Virtual Box

    Sounds like the choice of virtualisation platform is arbitrary and the real learning is going to start once you get going with your project. Just pick one. They're both means to an end. I use Virtual Box on Mac, and I use VMWare at work (Windows), or QEMU on Linux boxes.

    Hi, What's the idea behind the fishing system as it's currently implemented? What's stopping me from making 10-20 accounts and fishing safely in my GT 24/7 (Apart from OBS teleporting in and pking us hhhhhhhh)?     Are there not any queries into what it is you are programming, or they not care all that much? I'm just wondering because Mir isn't in the public domain and essentially all these server files we use are copyrighted etc.

    Some server owners probably earn thousands through the game shops they provide. How do they declare this money? Can they pass it off as donations due to them receiving the money via paypal? Surely the tax man gets suspicious?

  11. Hunt for the Butcher quest bugged

    Looks as though the Hunt for the Butcher quest is bugged. Don't seem to be getting the Deer Meat from harvesting. Meat is dropping when the deer is killed and I can't harvest it.
