I have never done it in a VM but I have a spare windows XP machine that I ran Sting on if you want one... I am in Stoke (UK).

Search for everywhere where Sting3G is mentioned in the database and the mud3 folder (and sub folders), not sure where that is exactly. It may also be written into the client somewhere.

Maybe your MAGIC file in the client is dodgy? or maybe something wrong in the MAGIC database. Not really sure as I haven't seen it before but try replacing 1 thing at a time to see what fixes it and then put everything back again.

I assume you mean that the game is exiting each time you look at the skills bar? I have never seen that before. if you have done something, undo whatever it is you have done.

Server closed. It's had a fault which I really can't be bothered to rectify, its been inaccessible for a couple of weeks and nobody complained so I figured it can't be that needed lol. Thanks to everyone who played. Server files are available if anyone wants, but I don't think there is any...

If you are trying to use Sting's client, you should be using Stings server files. If both are Sting's, I would suggest a change in one of the config files. The only place I can think there is a version number is this line in the CruelDragon3G.INI but there may be others. 登陆器版本号=3.68
