God this post is pure carrot gold -tries not to salivate on self too much- can you copy this into the Drop sticky to offer some further clarity around how the system works on the back end.
I would suggest someone like CremeEgg then, he has a vast vast vast wealth of knowledge around the product in question. He has already got a proven track record of working with the WeMade and GSP development teams including the original dev team in Korea. He's aware of the systems and the...
Do you have any active GMs in game? Ones that are specifically in role as a GM and have no influence on the development choices being made. Someone to help monitor global, answer questions, assist with any in game issues that have arose, investigating players reports of exploits/botting/griefing...
This is where you really let yourself down, you make great servers and no one can question your ability to code as its amazing.
But you never seen to nip issues in the bud and tackle them head on. Instead its a case of sweep it under the carpet and keep calm and carry on.
All it does it set a...
Lets be fair a lot of high profile players who donate a LOT of money to the server were also involved in the gold buying (the have the disposable income to do this) as a result banning them would result in payment recalls. That is the only reason no ones been banned for buying gold, not because...
I'm by no means the authority on Wizards but would you not be better stacking Wind+ on all of your gear and random rolling your hermits? Statistically you stand more chance of hitting a higher damage even with the more randomised stats than you do going full MC.
With gear you should be getting...
Have you done a comparison between full MC and full element kit? With 110 MC how much do you have left in wind? Whats your kit like and what have you got refined on your items?
Probably the best idea I've seen so far, monsters for the lower levels through to the 60's need adjusting slightly so that players don't feel too disadvantaged compared to those who are 65+++
Nothing has changed, nothing has changed.
It wont unbalance the server, it wont cause the server to crash in ruins, it wont even ruin the gaming experience. It will give those who have more money an easier way to make gold. But as others have said gold is usually worthless when it comes to end...
Its also had major negative effects on those who have invested in a +% kit rather than flat stats. Due to the reduction in mana and DC for instance on a Sin (20 > 15 and 3 > 2) it may mean they were better off having stacked flat stats over % at this stage of the game. Potentially rendering...
Unbelievably so, I’ve spent more than £250 on my different companion stats (yes we MUST make multiple pets!) and still a long way off having resistances to tackle more than two or three different dungeons.
So a level 38 mace should be better statted than a level 49 weapon then?
Or in Wizzies case a level 26 staff better than the level 56 weapon?
Yeah it's perfect as is buddy :)
-points at signature- nah played both not just Mir 2
Risk vs Reward
Don't want the risk go your main stat for better overall average damage but less in one specific element.
Why does everyone want to have their cake and eat it?
I don't know any sin who has rolled elements on their Hermit, I don't see any viable build that would make you want to do so either.
I think the biggest loser from this change is Warrior, we now have a 1/7 chance of getting the element we need basically meaning we will never try and roll...
Well it's not random, you choose how you refine your items.
You can go:
+25 element
+25 MC
+25% MC
I'm not good with numbers, but prior to the tipping point stacking element > MC early game as intended (Jamie has repeatedly said MC wins out late game) then as you enter later game you swap it...
