Yes, if you use WIL it is very slow depends on on the fly convert (wil 24bit -> DX9 32bit) The Converted files are 32bit Image and DX9 Conform. you will see, it is very fast with the iil/iix Lib ;-) same in zoom mode.

The Best way to stop lag is to convert the Wil / Wix lib to a DX9 Conform Format. I use a special format for my own game and it is 100% faste ;-)... I see only 2 solutions for it : 1. Convert to a DX Format or 2. Read the 1,8 GB Image to the RAM at Application Start.

Yes nice Idea to test it on the XP VM from Win7 :-) But I believe the problem is the Intel Onboard Graphicchip :-/ The next Version has then Information in Logfile thats show you all infos over DirectX things on this Graphic system.

Converting Wil / Wix is not need, the System support both Types of Wil/Wix files... hmmm, I believe it is more a problem with DX11 (I believe you use it). One Idea I have, I need to look for a newer DLL that can fix the Problem... Your Problem is, that the DirectX Engine can't find a supported...

Read the Readme.txt ;-) you only put it to your Mir3 Main folder to your Mir3.exe and not to the Data Folder. It works like a Client and has the Folders Hard Coded at the moment. at the moment I don't have Paypal, but if you test the Tool and give Infos back over PC Specs and or Ideas then...
