the rule with starttimer errors is that the thing loading before the error is the problem, imo there is something wrong with your database.
Have a look in your stditems and make sure the idx is running in order and you havnt accidentally added a new item that doesnt match.

Yeah cheers milo i managed to find a google post on it that explained the boot gets knackered and it gave me a program to fix it and add XP to the bootup options.
Because i needed XP i decided to partition my HD with the tool on windows 7 (shrink space) I then setup windows XP on the new partition.
Now my computer automatically boots windows XP and I can not boot windows 7, iv tried F8 any ideas please?
