You might need whats known as a loopback adaptor, your best bet is to try connecting from outside your house ie not on your router, and see if you can connect, it might just be that your comp wont connect using external ip but others will...- Chris22

64bit OS can run 32bit software, at least most can, you do require the correct sql to run on a 64bit operating system though. When you say its being a twat, in what way is it being a twat, wont it restore, install what is wrong with it ?- Chris22
