    We already have a quasi-Mir3 client. It's called Mir2EI. If anyone has any details on the new map format and image library structures, send them to me, and I might have a bash at putting them in. Also, anyone with C++ experience who wants the source should contact me.

    It depends, to be blunt. If I was looking for a good value, general purpose laptop, I'd go with the MacBook. If I needed something ultra-portable and reliable, I'd go grab one of those lovely 11-inch Sony SZ(I think?) series laptops. Mind you, they cost around £400 GBP more than the MacBook...

    Well, they're sound machines. You going for the MacBook or MacBook Pro? Either way, they're fast, have nice storage options, come with decent connectivity. Graphics isn't the best, but still... And of course, you can pt just about ny normal OS on them, eg, *nix or Windows XP ;)

    If you push that E6300 far enough, I have no doubt in my mind it'll whip the FX-62. Exactly what AMD are trying to achieve with AM2, and pushing K8L back is entirely beyond me. They should've anticipated Intel would respond this way, given the track record with the Pentium-M. -- HOWEVER...
