    I have the same problem, if your tower unit is really hot aswell, means your PSU has buggered up, and depending on how long this has been going on for, your soon due for a new PSU as it's gonna die, and your PC just won't turn on at all..and they cost alot of money £150 or there abouts...lucky...

    mir 1.4..but you need a special .exe which can be found www.fernys.co.uk under the name "mir1.4 client" or something like that

    you say it will endure years, but how do you know the technology of gaming won't increase drastically and outdating this one by miles...I think its always safer to go for the high prices
