    Quite a lot of 1st line support is done by phone, especially where I work. I urge my guys to phone more than email - Gives them that better customer experience. We all know how frustrating it is calling for support and getting some overseas guy reading from a script. I can't see MSP's farming...

    It's where most people in IT start - It's up to the individual to progress. Some are just happy to collect a wage whilst in a comfortable 9-5 job.

    The big question is... Do the guys have the energy to make a new one? It becomes almost a full time just running and keeping a server afloat these days. When we launched Chronicles predecessor AceM2 that was difficult enough to keep on top of, never mind Chronicles which had a higher UC.

    Suggestion What reward should be owning a wall?

    If you have two walls - Split the rewards. Wall A - 30% Discount on NPC's across the board Wall B - Stocks special pots (Aso thers said, bigger pots) that can only be purchased from that wall. Wall owners get discount, everyone else pay a igher rate but 30% of that goes into guilds funds.

    Networking will always be needed - However the need for them gets smaller and smaller. Personally, I'd go down the Cloud route and look at becoming a specialist in that area. Start with A+ for the basics, get a job in 1st line then self teach yourself all about Cloud. Office 365, Sharepoint...
