I've noticed Archer damage is GREATER the CLOSER the mob is to you.

Suggestion to switch this around and make it GREATER the FARTHER the mob is away from you

Reasons:
1) Gives Archer the incentive to stay away from mobs
2) Gives Archers the incentive to try and keep distance in PvP
3) Should reduce any Archers wishing to attempt "tanking" if it's at all possible?

Obviously have a cap on the distance as you don't want an extra 20-30 damage just for being at the end of the screen lol

Plus the fact i've never played a Range/Archer class in any game, where the closer the mob is, the higher the damage...the distance from has always been the contributing factor.

Anyway, just a suggestion....makes no difference to me lol

i would of thought the laws of physics/motion meant less damage at distance, less velocity

And also the fact that its more risk them being close to mobs, so it should be more damage to account for being at such risk ,rather than being half a mile away hid behind a wall

Apparently it may not been be doing this anyway lol. Either I'm just getting lucky with the damage increase as things get closer or the damage does in fact go up.

But as for the velocity question, arrows actually speed up the longer they're in the air...for a certain time of course lol, thus more damage :P

Q: Can arrows pierce through "Magic Shield"? Like TwinDrakeBlade/TwinDragonBlade. (What ever it's called these days).

Also does "SpeedRing/Neck" adjusts the speed of how fast you fire your arrows?

If there's a section full of these questions could you post a link.

I will definitely play an Archer.
