There have been a few suggestions regarding decoy, make it instant, make it explode, make it attack but another idea if you are not looking to make any drastic?? changes to it.
Increase the radius that it stay alive.
Currently as soon as it leaves your screen it dies - that's around 7-10? steps in one direction.
If Decoy would remain for a larger radius, say twice what it currently does. It would add a little more crowd control and survivability to the archer.
If you drop a decoy down in any pvp fight, it is not long at all before you have run off the screen to avoid being jumped rendering it useless. If the radius was larger it would give a nice element to escape.
You would still need to be the same distance as now to cast it, but it would remain at a longer distance.
Also with the decoy being off screen you would not know if another player is standing next to it waiting for you to escape into a trap.
