yeah, you see thats nothing to do with where you live, that would happen in a lot of places, except upper-class places, however depending on who you are and where you are you can get away with it.

I got away with being a **** all the time in college, because when I decided to skip loads of parts of my course, a rumour got out that i was going to court about something, and eventually turned into a rumour that I was "could not be named" guy in the local newspaper that had been arrested on suspicion of murder, but freed because there wasn't enough evidence.

The fact that my lecturer's and some of the people i was friends with couldn't explain where I was or jsut said I was skipping off for days at a time just enforced that veiw.

Hence after i failed the first year of the course and started a new one, most people in college from the year before (doing their second year) wouldn't talk to me
