its not 4x1GB they are 2x 2GB so i still have two more slots for more if i need it ill look at some more proccessors
Well, first of all, a 2GB PC3200 stick will cost more money than the best GFX card available.
Second, you can't add more. With the motherboards now they support a max of 4GB, not to mention unless you get a P4 6XX cpu, your cpu wouldn't even support more than 4GB, let alone if the board would.
oh and i also getting a new power supply dual tri colour fans red/green/blue so by the time im done my comp will be an xmas tree
Quality over looks any day, not to say that all performance PSU's are dull and grey, but definitely don't buy for looks, you will regret it. Make sure they're enough amps on the 12V line etc.
i always liked AMD's. but since i got my duel 3.2 p4 proccessors iv really started to like pentium.
@kane - there would be no point in getting a 64-bit because no software supports it yet. if you get it now, by the time software uses 64-bit the proccessor will be slow.
You mean dual
xeon's, P4 isn't a dual processor.
Actually, 64bit future proof means nothing with my purchases, it's the fact that in 32bit mode, the AMD64 is still one helluva CPU, and demolishes the P4 in all games, by a rather large margin.
yeh neons are old you should get one of those electronical cases which tell u ram heat n processor heat n fan speeds n time n stuff
they are mint
Those just have thermal sensors that you have to manually attach. You can buy a readout bezel with sensors for any case.
