BP / JP bots and automated players

I think people have gone off track a little, this has nothing to do with levelling spells AFK or the odd bit of AFK mining (which is fine ore is account locked anyway)

The issues raised are people using 3rd party software or complex scripts/macros to give them an unfair advantage. Such as using a botting programme to level you while you’re AFK in places like JP and BP. It’s happening a lot in both dungeons and the way these players are reacting is not normal. I’ve also witnessed a couple of people spin the same in Ants, no response when trying to chat to them and they just attack for a few seconds stop, then RT. They don’t move spaces almost like they have Shift + Click automated to use melee attacks or Wizards using AOE spells, Taoists using pets, Sin using AOE dragon repulse etc

Second to this is people AFK farming hunt gold, this is either done by standing in a spot AFK with a spell key wedged down to kill monsters. Or with a series of macros to random teleport the player every few minutes and then cast a spell rinse and repeat. As a result they are capable of farming the 1440 hunt gold every day and save this for character enhancements, buffs etc etc


@Jamie is anything being done about this yet? At the moment it feels very cloak and dagger.

I'm still trying to find any form of proof.

Currently every time I visit them they manage to respond appropriately, Every time I interfere their character in a subtle way they react the exact same way a regular player would. I've done an in-dept account linking and whilst I've found evidence of account sharing (not uncommon) I'm not seeing any suspicious activity (such as playing more than one account at the same time). Whilst they may appear to behave strangely they have quite high ping playing form Chinese so their inputs may be effected.

I have been checking them several times a day for a while (its a lot of work), however I will continue to consistantly check them.


I may revise the hunt gold system to counter the "AFK Hunt gold", (They AFK at work for 30 minutes, then RT and kill a few mobs, then AFK again).
