can assassin wear normal weapons?

Only briefly player with assassins, can they wear normal weapons such as wooden sword etc like all the other 3 classes can, or are they only able to wear their own choice of weapons?

Only sin weapons really because some of there skills depend on using there own weapons, if they used a wooden sword and use the double slash skill it will look messed up, also when they run maybe ?

Yes they can. But it won't allow them too use dual hand skills.

just tried this on official mir3 and i cant equip wooden sword (says its only for wiz/war/tao)

so my question now is, how do assassins mine if they cant use a pickaxe?

as assassins read from a completely different wil setup for their weapons, unless pickaxe has an assassin version surely they cant?

i'd try on mir2 but i dont have it installed. The mechanics of assassin on mir2 and mir3 will work about the same.

i post here because assassins aren't coded in mir3 yet, and since files like ruby have them coded i'd have thought someone knew how assassins worked.

Assassins can equip all standard weapons that the other classes use (pickaxe included!), however when equipped they will use the standard walk/run/hit animations and not the assassin animations (same goes for armours). And as Iceman said they won't be able to use their skills which require dual weapons.

fair enough, i guess mir3 has been done completely different then, couldn't seem to equip any other weapon apart from assassin ones on there.
