(was a reply to the Archer DC->MC thread, but maybe too off topic. Anyways....... )

It would be much easier if the class' attributes were in a table of their own in the game engine. For just 3, I can see it didn't matter too much. I would imagine it then being much easier to create classes, still referred to by the current flag, but if you wanted to add a class you'd just add to the table. The table would merely need to contain the engines base stats' percentage given, along with how much HP/MP etc per level, or 7x levels. (or even give that a variable in the table too)

Items aren't an issue. I can't see spells being that much of an issue to change over, or add really, either.

It would kind of expand Chronicles to uniquely be able to add as many classes as it likes, whilst other versions of Mir slowly (these days) added one at a time. Be massive mind. It'd open the door to having, for example, multiple types of Wizard. All using MC if you like, but maybe one with more summons; one with more.... undead spells? You just need a very easy way of adding a class flag and a relating table to get the base stats.

... best of luck with the balancing :p
