Regarding the thread title and maybe the Black screen issue, one "fix" could be not use the mini interface. So far I was playing with the big interface all day long and no incident at all.

Also something that might be useful: Right click on mir2.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode: Windows XP (SP3). I am running on Windows 7".

Hope this helps and it works.

Nice find with the low interface... We think we have a small idea as to why client stops responding... and using the mini interface might make sense... I will look into it.

I haven't tested if PoisonCloud will freeze my client now, but as soon as it will happen I'll say it.

Re: Client "Not responding"

You can't open the game sometimes unless you deactivate certain programs like IOBit SmartDefrag. Solution is go Start-> at search bar type MSCONFIG then in the window that appears chose Startup -> Disable all so that your PC, after restart, wont run unwanted any programs.

Maybe disabling FireWall/Antivirus can help too. I didn't need to do that tho.

if its any consolation i get client crashes on both interfaces, so i believe it not to be a interface issue

I had not responding again, makes me think is only in certain maps or more precisely spots. I get d/c in the same spot every time randomly.
