atm i have this problem, i looked at the other threads they've told me too update my sql, i looked through it and the tables i was told too add and take off, had allrdy been added/were not there.

instead i found the file to restore and had the same problem, weather it was the correct file i dnt know but... neway

after a while it connects on a strange ip/port.

and im also using sql2000

iv also been told that u can use vista if u only have 2005 installed tho,

home premium if it makes a diff btw.

server has come straight from a diff comp which ran it fine, offline also. and i have made sure that the sql login is correct

Does ure SQL Database in Enterprise Manager. Say the same as it does in DBSRC.ini?

e.g. Mir2

dbserver obviously isn't connecting properly with server. =p

fixed things,

i set server up same as i would with xp, then installed sql2005 express.

thats on home premium if neone else has the same problem
