Almost every map has exactly the same drop file for mobs, Insect cave drops the same as zt mobs 99% of the time for example. There are the odd very small change like 33 bracers\armours dropping 1 in every 3 hunts on harder maps but its very dull drops wise atm.

Level 33+ areas shouldnt be dropping level 22 Armours for example, these armours will never be usefull. Maybe have level 25+ only item drops inside harder maps even if its lower rate just so its more intresting then the same items that drop on every map.

Could even pick certan caves for higher chance of armours, another cave for accessories another for books ect ect. This is the 1 thing i miss about mir 3, lots of diffrent diverse drop files, and i dont mean rare stuff as this sever clearly intends for those to be boss only.

Mir2 must have much less items over lvl 25 which aren't considered rare/semi rare in comparison to mir3.

I'll do a quick run down on trash items mir2 has over level 25

Rings - Expel, coral
Armours - lvl 33 armours
Helmets - Steelhelmet(debatable) , skelehelmet (debatable)
Belts - none
Necklaces - none
Bracelets/gloves - BronzeGlove, Blackironbracelet (debatable)
Weapons - Purifier sword

That's under 10 items and also various books, maybe our definition of trash (items which drop frequently and most likely to be vendor'd for gold) differs from yours, item status's change as the server progresses and as such more "trash" becomes available (not having the ability to buy other players junk doesn't help this situation currently but we are working on that), Beyond lvl 30 there is little to no trash items as from this point stat's aren't handed out as freely as in the early game due to Mir's limited stat system on a low rate, else it starts to verge on med/high rate (which isn't a bad thing but when you are trying to emulate a low rate, people question what they have signed up for)
as more items become considered junk the drops will reflect it, but as of right now we are limited till items start flowing more freely.

Its not all about usability of items from area to area (as beyond lvl 30 trash usability is none existent) trash serves as its own purpose and that is as additional gold income for those who collect it to sell. If we was to focus purely on usability from area to area, there would be very little rare's left in the game.
All mobs have a chance to pay out with big upgrades albeit those rates may be on the low side atm, but this is being actively looked into.

Because all mir's to a degree don't tend have that many item's to play with, for a future chronicles update perhaps or new server whichever how about this system..

Taken from an old game which is still running now i think Priston tale...

Greataxe 0-23dc to Greataxe 0-28dc (perfect)

Lithebow 2-17dc to Lithebow 5-19 (perfect)

Magestaff dc 4-8 / mc 0-4 to dc 5-9 / mc 3-5 (perfect)

Doing this with all items in the database would give players alot more (low lvl trash drops) to sell ect...lot more choices in kit selection. maybe only (perfect) item drop from bosses and a very very small chance from normal mobs.

Diablo like system is pretty good!

Another thing I've seen while playing a game called Path Of Exile is the use of junk items, how I mean is that the game requires you trade goods instead of using gold!

Pretty cool system since when you sell to that certain NPC he pays you in good that he accepts (Scroll Of Wisdom, Enchantment Shard, etc).

Not sure how this would be implemented though!

Weapons - 22 weapons,Purifier,FireBloodSword - WSB/SBF/Scythe (These were in PSC/PT drops - are they now?)

There are lots of items and lots of things that are different that euro - which i understand, this isn't euro.
But with the increased speed of leveling and the lack of items drops, it just doesn't make ANY sense.

You have an amazing crafting system which you could build on too - instead people will maybe make 1 or 2 items from this EVER.

As posted in the bug section also armour's should sell for more (like 6k+) to compensate for the bagweight, they always have yet on here they sell for less than alot of normal accessories lol

not having the ability to buy other players junk doesn't help this situation currently but we are working on that), will help a lot if u can buy other peoples junk,im often sell to junk man to save time.
