DS vs. PSP

I started of this year thinking i wanted a DS, then was reading about the PSP and its turly amazing.
I then read amazon's reviews and it seems quite a lot of the US's PSP's had faults in, like dead pixels and stuck buttons.
Then i read DS's, no problem with it apart from it aint as stylish.
All reviews gave the console they were reviewing 4 or 5 stars (obviously).

But now i dunno which one to pre-order lol.
So i made this poll seeing what you think of them and which one your gonna buy/pre-order.

Voted for DS, I prefer Nintendo games to Playstation games most of the time. Also voted because one of my mates is absolutely crazy about Nintendo, and will go psycho when it comes out (March 11th I believe).

i voted PSP even tho id find it hard to choose. I prefer the PS2 to GC but i also prefer some of GC's games to PS2's lol.

Compared PSP's graphics with DS's and PSP wins by far.

The PSP simply because I have a DS and im not that impressed by it
The touch screen is great for mini games and such but not as a control scheme it can get annoying to use sometimes that and it cramps my hand after about 40 mins of using it

The main "defect" people seem to latch onto with the psp is the square button however it only affects 0.6% of all the psp's and sony replace em for free
The dead pixels aint even noticabile(sp?) to most people who have a PSP
And Battery life is long enough for a portable considering no one plays on 4-5hours straight + Sony have made a batery with 30% more power so that will increase the psp battery life

Considering the two consoles aren't even supposed to be competing, i personally prefer the PSP.

Better graphics, better expandability, better functionality, better connectivity.

Can't argue with that.

from a side of testing them at work ime gona have to say the PSP

the DS battry life is quite nice and the game play is sweet but the gfx let it down a bit (and i dont like its looks:P)

the PSP battry life lets it down quite a bit (5 hours with wifi disabled) but omg at the gfx it owns. and i like its looks

psp wins for me (not at the £345 we sell it for >.<)

Let's just be honest, in the scheme of things Nintendo has been dead a long time, and RE4 is a little too late for the GC to alter its 'kid' mentality.

lol Goldeneye was good for its time but it wouldnt work well on the DS
