Element Damage

Never fully understood elements, not played Mir3 since this server properly so, yeah.

Say if I have Fire Damage +1 and they have Fire Resistance -1 what does the fire+1 damage equate too in DC?

+1 fire damage and a mob has -5 fire resistance = again, what does the damage equate to?


One last question,
i am guessing there is no diminishing returns on damage so the damage always has a linear scale?

I'd like to know this too.

For example, when hunting in Zuma, would it be better to stack Fire, or go for DC?

He posted a table a little while back. Think it was +4% per difference in points. Bear with I'll try and find it.

I think ive viewed this all wrong for years since playing mir 3 high rates.

My understanding was that, say you had a wind +1 ring of 4mc, any mob weak to wind would be hit for 8mc from that ring. A Wooma mage staff at mc 3 with +10 wind would hit for 30mc and so on...

This is why I don't trust people!! lol

AE has zero effect in any cave higher then JP. End off conversation regarding this.
