Im on 576k bt broadband but my downloading speed is REALLY slow , i mean i want to download priston tale (693mb) and the speed is 8kb/sec and most of my downloaded (not all) are really slow why is that?(eg im downloading a w3 crack and the speed is 1.79 kb on a 576k line ...

AND WHAT IS A BB FILTER? WOT DOES IT DO

Check what programs are running on ur pc. i had this prob, had some programs makingi t go slow 4 sum reason.

Also it depends where your d/l from.

Post a SS of Task manager >proccess's's's

And sometimes downloads for cracks and those types of games are slow in general, have you tried a reputable place with speed such as gamer's hell?

Yeah , i know some websites the upload speed is really slow =/ but i aint sure ...

Run M$ anti-spyware and see if anything pops up.

Your running bittorrent there, maybe thats using up a considerable amount of your bandwidth. Try downloading something from sourceforge.net and see if it maxes out (Sourceforge can easily max out the 10meg connection on my dedicated server)

if ur downloading VIA bit torrent then u need to wait bout 5mins - 1hr for the speed to pick up. Aso usually downloading cracks is slow

Im av the same and they have been changing systems or something, mine went slow for like a day when i was mir and lagged, but its all sorted now but some ppl r still gettin slow conns.
