You might of changed it to work this way but fire wall does not hit ever step. hits every 2nd step. i am sure on every other server i have played that's wrong its 1 step hits.

Might be a bug but also might be you editing the skill

if thats right its very weird, its always been 1 step

Thanks for the report we will look into it.

From what I understand FW should hit on movement, so if you stand in the middle of it and do not for it would hurt less.
