GM Accounts

I got my server workin, it wont be goin live its just to play with.
(My PC aint upto speed to go public)

How do you make a GM account?

How do you manipulate the database? i.e start items, exp etc.

Any help would be great.

I altered the and it is loading up..Just dont seem to do anything.

Once you have put the prefered name you wish to use for your GM char into the admin list ( *(space)(charname) for full GM powers and 1(space)(charname) for half powers) then make a normal mir account the same way you would on any server, make the char with the GM name in the char select bit, then once ingame type @gamemaster and then your ready to go.

Sorry for double post... but to edit start level/items find setup.txt in your mirserver folder and edit it in there, to change exp you need to use the database commander (or similar) and change it in there. If you search for 'monster' in the search bar on the forum it should come up with an easy way to edit all exp. I'm guessing that it's the same way to do mir3 servers as it is to do mir2, if i'm wrong ignore me.

hmm, still dont work. @gamemaster ingame, names on the list. Any one got a screenie of what AdminList should look like?

I think the EI command for @gamemaster is different, try looking in your commands to find one similar and try that

and it should be like this: (for example)

* Hoochie ( <--for example purposes)
* Node

or use 1 for half GM
