Green poison, log out, log in, pk

While mining, i do not carry pots. My miner keeps getting poisoned by a character called AFKER. He logs off and back on again while i am poisoned, so that when my miner dies he does not get murder, thus not making him red or yellow. Whoever he is, he is just pure griefing, if hes not blocking entrance to MM with his pets so I cannot get in, he is luring zombies on my miner, or just blatantly taking advantage of the fact he cannot go red or yellow. In the grand scheme of things, its rather minor, but could it please be addressed somehow.

If i remember, Euro had the same bug, but cant remember how it was solved. Can anyone remember?

Maybe make the entrance a SZ? or just make it so that if you go brown, you dont lose your brown by loging out and in again?

Any other suggestions?

Thought poisoning cant kill you but it will take you to like 1 hp though ?

you can because i have been...... he loggs off and on so the poisons not attributed to him anymore.. then i die... and he doesnt get murder. this is wrong as there should be some sort of consequence. what happens when im on 1 hp and someone poisons me?

when he loggs, would it revert to the same as a mob kill rather than a player? Its obvious bug exploitation, no matter how minor it is.

Pretty sure logging off means it can then kill you, otherwise it wouldn't have done (it treats it as if a mob has poisoned you then IIRC)

I'm fairly certain this was never fixed on Euro. An easy fix for it however is to just make it so that Poison can't get the killing blow period. It has to be some form of attack from a mob or player, at least in this way providing you dodge the zombies lured on you, he'd have to kill you himself.

I agree he's a little ****. Sounds like an Angry primary school kid from what I have heard from him. I would like a sz in entrance just to mine in peace. He only griefs\pks because he gets annoyed he never gets plat. Complete tool IMHO

This has nothing to do with afk mining?!?!?! I am at my computer when I mine thus and you are missing the point. The fact that people can kill you without suffering the consequences unlike elsewhere in mir is exploiting a bug, no matter how minor it is.

• Not once in his post did he say he was AFK mining.
• You cannot AFK mine on this server any more - you have to move your char every 30 seconds or so or you will get no ore.
• The thread is rasing the issue of a bug which allows people to poison kill with no consequences. The fact that (in this particular example) it happened to someone who was mining is irrelevant.

You dont appear to be very good at reading posts or giving constructive answers for a mod...

Yeah that is pure BS if that's the case. Don't see how it would be hard to code so that if a tao poisons and logs off the poison would then disappear?
The douche should also be banned just for blocking doors, not to mention what he's doing with poison.

In fact, it would be nice if a tao pulls that poison you then log off crap, targeted player's HP should be returned to what it was prior to be poisoned. :lol

If you want grief play banned then send in screenies of the door blocking. Enough people do that and he banned then no more problem and a warning to others. Sounds like the poison kill the only advantage taos have on this server.

Kay, I misread, apologies.

Anyway, it's always been in Mir that you could poison & logout. People used to grief it in BW & PI back on Euro. It's unfortunate indeed, maybe the devs can and will fix it, perhaps something that keeps the poisoner in "combat" for as long as the poison is applied - thus preventing log out.

Unfortunately screenshots can't always prove that, What if they were rep'd into the door and someone screenied it.

this should be fixed so tao cant logout while poison persists but poison should still kill as it did in euro.

Yeah you can die from poison well a low level miner def can as afker has got my miners a few times as well. Tbh name and shame his main constant griefing if he is not getting punished for it atleast let us. Mining already made harder by not being able to afk then you get this guy and others its not even funny. I don't have a lot of time to play so when I do would rather not spend it running miners back and forth.
