So i have gone on a few group hunts now, as of course its more enjoyable in a group... however with the exp cut by roughly 40/50% by just having one extra party member .. you kind of just want to solo
To top it off drops are reduced also, so its lose/lose

Anyone else recon server is not that group friendly?

All the top players are running in groups, so it can't be that bad

I prefer group hunting but please don't ruin the game by making the mistake many servers make and boost group exp and drops too much. The last two servers I've played have ruined the game by allowing a group of 5-7 people gain EXP at such an increased rate no one else could keep up,

The idea of grouping is that the kill load and pot usage is halved, whilst the exp is only reduced by 30/40% ish.

Ofc if you look at the exp drop alone, it seems a bit much....but it's always been this way and should remain as such.

Obviously if you're grouping with a full group of 12(?), and only 3 people are pulling their weight, you will notice a shite exp gain/pot usage ratio.

In massive group (Guild Hunts), you should have the stragglers (Usually the lower levels) carrying MP/HP for Wizzys and Warriors, so that it at least somewhat balances the ratio, then you can hunt longer

But if you think that the exp should be improved straight off, then no chance lol...people would bee a lot further ahead if that was the case.

The top players are all Solo players lol not in Groups... That being said i think Group play is fine still.

I thought the group exp/drop rate was a bit low as well. It doesn't need to be increased too much, but just enough to where group hunting is encouraged as it always should be.

Only level 26, but it definitely feels like solo is faster than a group, and coupled with not being able to RT around into big pulls, I'm put off grouping. Not a Mir pro however, so I'm assuming groups are more efficient at higher levels.

Best exp is in groups of 2-4 with everyone contributing. Can make much better exp and hunt longer using less pots with 2-4 ppl than solo.

Group exp is fine. If u increase it then it makes it really pointless to solo. Even with a full 15 man group with people pulling lures carrying pots for others exp wasn't too bad

This - group exp feels lower than previous mir 3 versions.

i believe group experience is low, also agree with Piff - all top players are solo hunters. but group experience should not be as low as it is (nearly 50% lower) it will not hurt to increase it a little bit. I also believe it should be same for a group of 2 or any larger number of groups.
Bosses are already very hard to kill solo.

Group exp should never be good to the point where it's not worth soloing. I believe Jamie has it spot on here, frankly. The fact bosses are relatively hard to solo further proves this.

If you want more fun, less pot consumption and more safety overall, take a group. Just don't expect to level as fast.

The increased hunt duration ,decreased pot usage , and decreased boring solo time , more than makes up for the exp you lose. You could probably fit a math equation in there that actually proves you will gain more % in 2 hours hunting a group of 4 in certain places than you would solo.

And this is assuming you aren’t a level 35 killing level 25 mobs , which I feel lots of people don’t realise you get a fairly chunky penalty for killing mobs lower level than you.

If you really think it should be the same exp solo as any size group then you are an idiot. Solo/small groups should always be better exp than 10-15 man groups. Otherwise everyone levels super fast

Best exp can be found in 2-3 man groups where everyone contributes equally. If u getting less exp it's probably because you are carrying people not helping.
