Need some help please making a npc script to spawn the mobs for a taming room, I have searched on forum but nothing came close to what i wanted. i need the script to spawn 6 mobs of (same name) in certain place. I have got it to spawn one but thats it im stuck.Below is what i got so far but dont know how to spawn them in the 6 cells thats in the room, also how could i make it so they don't random spawn they just spawn at the given co ords. I have tried to copy 5 more of each othem and put the co ords in the given param's but without any luck 1 still spawns. Thanks for any help in advance.

Fairly common sense tbh...

you already have
[@OmaF]
#ACT
Param1 0162
Param2 9
Param3 13
MonGen OmaFighter 1 1
close

just add the mongen on again so it would be something like this

[@OmaF]
#ACT
Param1 0162
Param2 9
Param3 13
MonGen OmaFighter 1 1
Param2 14
Param3 13
MonGen OmaFighter 1 1
close

then an OF would spawn at 9:13 and another one at 14:13, just stick on as many as you need in whatever coords, cant see whats difficult there

That was a great help, But the problem i have now is most of the time when the mobs are spawned they dont go in there cells they are randomely put is there anyway i can make it so they only spawn at those co ords and not anywhere else. Thanks for any help in advance

The code you have there should work fine, the only reason they would spawn in random positions is if the coords you put in your param's is the position of an object where mob's cannot be placed upon. Double and triple check the coords, stand on the coords ingame and make sure they are possible mob spawn points. If you still have problems with it, double check your 0162.map is the same in your client files and your server files

Can't think of anything else that could be wrong with it

If you have already set param1 under the same #ACT call it will just use the last one you called

For example
Code:
#ACT
Param1 DD01
Param2 30
Param3 35
MonGen Sheep 1 1
Param2 32
MonGen Sheep 1 1
break
Will spawn a sheep at DD01:30,35 and DD01:32,35

Yes, I admit it is neater to use all 3 param's before each mongen call and will be a lot easier to update or edit at a later date if you wish to make changes, but just pointing out that it is not strictly necessary :)

You can even do this if you so desire
Code:
#ACT
Param1 DD01
Param2 30
Param3 35
MonGen Sheep 1 1
MonGen Wolf 1 1
That will spawn a sheep and a wolf on top of each other at the given position

See :D

2. Ever heard of attaching a .txt?
3. What does that npc have to do with this thread anyway?

The reason you're mobs are spawning all over the place because your not defining a scope for those mobs.

Below is the Mongen Parameters.
Code:
Param1 MapNum
Param2 X-Coord
Param3 Y-Coord
MonGen MobName Ammount Scope

Example:

Code:
Param1 0
Param2 100
Param3 100
MonGen WoomaTaurus 1 1

The above code would spawn a WT in Bichion at dead on 100:100, because scope is set to 1 the radius only covers one square so it has to spawn there.

'What is Scope??' I hear you ask. Scope is a set distance (that is,radius) from the set coords that a mob can be spawned. This aids with the spawning of mobs such as Lords etc, so you wouldn't have to keep changing the Coords to stop people quieing up to kill it and it would allow it to spawn anywhere within its scope.

Hope that helps,
