Help please

I'm having some problems getting the mir 2 server files to work, i get past the create your account and the create a char part, but when i try to get through the main gate, it just stays as a black screen?

Ill Ask:

1. What files you using?
2. Check Your Ip's

I'm using the 1map files, the m2server is saying
File or directory does not exist.
File: C:\mirserver\StdItems.DB
File: C:\mirserver\StdItems.DBF
File: C:\mirserver\StdItems.txt
File: C:\mirserver\StdItems, maybe thts the reason it freez's, but all the offer gates, seem to be working perfectly

have you set up db commander correctly?

there shouldnt even be those files in /mirserver so i dunno what thats about.

it loks like the DB paths are set wrong, normaly its C:\Mirserver\DB

my m2server doesnt load as far as i know though.

them files arnt in the folder, anyways, n thts wat it came up with wen running on local, it disconnects me straight away wen i try to use my static ip address, and i'm not behind a firewall so it cant be tht :\

DB path is normally C:\MirServer\DB for 1.4 files & C:\MirServer\Mir200\DB for 1.9.
Check in BDEAdmin that the path is set correctly.

Other than that it's your IP's.

everything is in the right place tht they shud be, on my local i get up onto were i can sign on or create n account w/e, and create a char part after tht point it goes blank black screen, could this be something to do with the maps or start point, or maybe having the wrong data files.

If someone has a full edited working server, could you please zip thm my way...... [email protected]

All you need to get on is, as far as I can guess is that you need UnPNP which you can get at www.fernys.co.uk just download it and run it and click Disable. Should let u on then buddy

sorry for the double post, but i've tryd tht, and after i click start it comes up with the black screen then comes up with a box, which wen clickd closes the client, so this must mean there are certain data files missing, has anyone got them, or knows were i can get thm from, or if you can give me more advance help please add me on msn [email protected]
