Hey there. Now I dont know much about microsoft mysql and the different version types but im using mysql 2000 for my server and im using it for my WOW and ROSE servers so I dont really want to wipe the database by installing a new version of mysql.

The problem is, I have looked at different 2.3 setup guides and they all seem to need enterprise manager to manage the mysql database somthing my version didnt come with. I use Navicat and SQLYOG. I have already tried following a guide using this software but it seems that the 2.3 mysql files are in a format that NAVICAT and SQLYOG are incompatible with.

is there anyway to get round this? Mayeb I can download enterprise manager on its own or is there a converter that will allow me to convert the database files into somthing that can be used with NAVICAT or SQLYOG?

I have already googled around and searched around the forums many times. So any help will be appretiated guys

Thanks

If your using mysql 2000 where it says "restore this" dont, restore the 2000.backup or something. don't know sql in great detail myself. But should work if you using sql 2000
