ive started my server got all the Untouched files and mir but when i go to start it says IP is not ready can some 1 help plz

try going over you files again,or iff that doesnt work,you could try to delete it all,and re-download the files and client,and start over again.

Ok now my server's kicking in saying gate open

but now when i go to play it . it says con closed

even tho i have changed my game ip's and the actual server ip's to my IP

ive ran out of idea's

Screenshot all your serverside running programs.

Make sure your firewalls down , (not windows firewall ).

Im not sure Windows firewall affects a server does it?

Also make sure your client info is corect i.e ip's and names.

If you set the server files up following the guide on ferny's then your server's going to be set up to i.p 217.0.0.1 I'd make sure you've got that i.p

If I've got this tottally wrong and your using 1.9 files then shoot me

ok yayay i got that problem sorted now anoth its just aint going well for me i need a :thirsty:




anyways i been running server for less that a day. I made a charecter and only me was on server. Couple of hours later i go to log on but my account has gone :S. i go to make a another one but it says summet about the ID. Ive still got the logs of what ive done but no char

inother words it allowing the name :S allthought it let me have it before

Definately a problem with the hum.db or something like that (cant remember how it is called exactly), anyways try wiping your character again.
