How do seige wars work?

im attempting to fix my sw.

how do you...

request to have a war?
take the wall?


i believe its something to do with 'mainflag', do you have to be stud still for a certain amount of time?

what have seige weapons got to do with it?

not totally sure m8 but in mine i think i spoke to an npc to request the war. (have 2 be a guild chief)

As for the seige weapons i neva did figure them out

I am sure a Real Mir3 player can answer this better but basically the war goes on for 3 hours (upto) and the guild leaders ONLY can take the flag, they walk to the spot, the npc checks theyare guild leader and on the right X Y then it says "XXX has taken Wall". The other guild leader then has to take the flag back. I beleive its 15 mins you have to hold the flag for and then you have won the war.

To request a war you need to submit a relicZT for Sabuk and Numa ruin for DMW
The war is then sceduled for 3 days later.

The war is for 2 hrs the attacking forces have to hold the flag(touch it) for 10 mins iirc if the opposition retake the flag they have to hold it for 30 mins (never seen that happen tbh so not entirely sure)

The siege weapons need to be purchased and loaded, to load click stones(ammo) on siege wep window.

you can store weps with arsenal and retrieve them later

On the seige wep window you have an inner and outer square your range is between the two click in this area and press attack button.
A lot is self explainatory but you need seige sitution to fully explore what you can and cant do.

are seige weapons mainly used for knocking down sw doors? or for killing people?. they are a terribly bad aim.

i requested a war ok
i started the war with abit of trouble. i set it to start on the same day at 9pm. it came to 9pm and nothing happened. in the end i had to use the gm command @changetime, to change it to 9pm, then it worked.


taking the flag i also had abit of trouble with. i believe you have to stand a certain 1 of 2 spots for you to be able to take the flag (ie right next to it). well i did this, and it wouldnt even ask if i wanted to take it.

i think some more investigation will have to go into this ><

ballistas: shorter range but area effect average damage: 400
catapults: longest range, single hit average damage 800 (can kill even highlevel wars with 1 hit)

on olymp they r used in sieges for both: knocking down walls and killing peeps guarding/camping the centre flag hehe

if attacking guildleaders get near centre flag they click the flag and get the option of <take flag>

this all refers to JoB servers...by having a quick look through the PtW files u can c that flag cant be taken by click anymore they do change automaticly if attackers hold a certain position for a bit of time (cant remember the delay which was set in scripts)

ok. iv translated my npc and now i can take the wall ok

theres just the problem with starting time im confused about.


in the ini i have the war to start at 21hr. (9pm)
and finish 2 hours later 23hr (11pm)


my laptop clock is at 9pm but nothing happens.

only when i do @changetime 5 (and it says ingame time 21:00), it starts the war.

ideas?

Maybe its something to do with the time zones, not to sure :/.
