So,as the topic says,Im new to the whole LOM3 scene,and I would like to start playing on a private server,cause I wont be able to pay the monthly fee...So could someone please post here some kind of beginners guide that will help me to download game,create account etc.?

A bit more specified help please,i have never ever played mir before,a step by step guide would be good :compp:

lol ok:
step 1: download part1 + part 2 of the Olymp 1.5 Mir3 client (to the same folder)
step 2: doubleclick part1 which is an executible rar archive and choose a folder to extract 2
step 3: wait til archives are extracted
step 4: browse to folder u extracted the client 2 and doublecklick mir3.exe (ignore the patch thing) or start the "verküpfung to mir3.exe" which supresses the autopatch
step 5: enjoy

2/goto here www.ei.olymp-server.da.ru download mir3 client
3/go on a holliday becozzzz BT is slow 3 days
4/yahooo you have come back from your holliday and now can install mir3
5/goto here www.ei.olymp-server.da.ru make an account
6/log in and play mir3

total time 4 days 23 hrs

never played mir ever in your life and yet the place you come to is a forum for private server, yer very wise move that. Both Mir2 and mir3 have a trial period (real P2P server) so you can download the "proper" client, log into game, use there web site for the begineers guide and then figure out if you like it or not. Once your happy with the basic's of playing mir (any one) then playing a private server is not much different, you grab a client, install and play - how simple is that !!
