Instancing

It's easily done for pet rooms, it just checks whos on the map, then puts the next person in another map

wow blame you are like te 3rd person who said that.... you get the 3rd spam medal 
it can be used for the pets, but MrSam is more intrested in using it for temples were you do it yourself... so you get a group of people, and clear the whole of say WT... or the wjole WT KR with your group, and not other groups. for privacy and everything... cause it is annoying when your off leaving and then a group of themafia comes and pwn you :P

i just realised that mir2 euro is doing this, so i dont think he deserves any credit for "inputting it to mir2"

The Mir challege system is a totally totally different concept, and again it's individuals.
I wasn't aware that it was used for pet rooms etc, or anything. I've only seen a few short NPC scripts remember - not a server owner. Just looked at scripts like 30mins.
But again, this creates an instance for person + group, friends etc - think it's the only time that it's ever been done with groups at all? The official Mir thing, even if it is an instance, which I'm not sure about, is single player.
Anyway, anyone who's got this working please let me know, and everyone feel free. I dunno if my script works as like I said I don't have a server, it should work, if it doesn't it's small things like spelling.

its not single player. instead of groups, its guilds that all. you can also buy invites, so groups can also be made there.
i really like their idea of creating a statue for the first people to level 50, but thats another topic for another day!.

I thought you were referring to the guild challenge system.
Again it's a little different (admittedly very similar) - there's 20 different guildprovinces. They're not seeking to create the impression of the same room in the same way. But very very similar.

We dont yet. It's possible to code one that would run externally to the m2server and allow instances.
