Interface editing

Hey...

i'm always getting "incorrect colour depth's" this is when im designing my own interfaces with paintshop pro 8. Mostly all the time i import most pics it comes up incorret colour depths

The images have to be in 256 colour...

Export a random small pic from the image viewer form an original .wil, like the picture of a book in items.wil or summin, open the exported image with paint...

Paste special your new interface onto it, save the picture, then the colour depth will be fine.

ok, but usally when i change them to 256 colour format .bmp the pictures all go different colours like invert or something just screwed up.....

Photoshop CS allows you to click save as.. then BMP then 256 colour. .. what i did when i imported my images back in
