IO need a PUBLIC IP!! where i find!?

it seems like i have configured my router settings now so that i can host my server... whoever said to put 192.168.1.50 into the DMZ is wrong ... ¬_¬

you have to put in 10.0.0.200...

anywayz, i need to obtain a public IP for my ROUTER so that people can connect now to play my mir2 server... how would i find this plz!!

ok, go onto your main pc, do start, run, cmd.exe, then in the dos prompt type ipconfig, here it will list your ip's find the adapter of your network card connected to the net leader and to the right it should show your ip.

0r the fact that both me and iamdeath swear by the 192.168.1.50 and the fact that we have both written the only router hosting guides that work might just be right.... works for everyone else. and believe me ive spent hours helping about 30 different people set up their routers..... and now around 30 servers are working succesfully using it, and even my own server ran through the same principle.

blaminator that site doesnt even show your ip if you're using a non secured proxy lmao

you could try http://games.telenet.be/ip.php although i'm not sure if that works outside telenet range

The Ip you ahve to put is entierly dependant on your network settings.
I would have to put 192.168.0.2
My m8 would need 192.168.2.1
etc etc.

You really should know how to get your public IP - another way of getting your ip is to connect to irc and do "//dns $me" then read the ip.
