Comparing items can be hard but I always thought that is part of the game, of fun. Also include purple color for stats that are unique to either of the items.

If someone codes it, it would be much better to make it more general, like with a panel into which you insert items for comparison and make it three items for it to be more useful.

Would be nice if it also worked for items on sale in TM, in that case make it a panel with two or three buttons, you press a button and click on item in TM and your bag and do the same for other item(s), then click OK and it would display colored stats side by side in the panel window.
