lil help if n e 1 knows wat i should do

i installed all the server fiels and set up sql and everything

then i open all the programs but when i get to eiserver it dont run vey smoothly

it opens up but says

ready to load ini file..
!setup.txt loaded..
Read Emergency Map : [0] 459,261
starttimer exception...

i copied maps into the map folder in mud3

i checked the setup file but cant find n ething wrong, chenged mapdir to C:\mud3\mir300\map

wat else could it b ?

OK the problem is in your DBServer config.

In there it asks for MapFileDir. If you put in your map dir there you will get the error you are getting.

What it is actually looking for is the mapinfo.txt file which is located in c:\mud3\mir300\envir

If you change that setting to c:\mud3\mir300\envir you should get rid of the problem you're having.

it was already directed to C;/mud3/mir300/envir

when i set up sql and got all the files to set up the database i used files from another folder

it happened to be C:/Downloads/mud3/

could that effect anything or not?

i still get the same messageready to load ini file..

Don't know if your previous post was just an error but the dir in DBServ config should look like this;

c:\mud3\mir300\envir NOT c;/mud3/mir300/envir

also, make sure that your map dir is like this;

c:\mud3\mir300\map\

it must have the trailing slash on it but the dbserver config does not
