Just change all IP's to ur net IP and not only will you beable to log in but so will everyone else.

Jeez how hard is that to tell sum one.

Oh and also 127.0.0.1 has nothing to do with your router, seeing as its a internal loop back. Nothing to do with your router at all.

Also 192.168.xxx.xxx is ur router IP, as i said 127.0.0.1 has nothing to do with the router at all.

No all IP's do not want changing to Net IP, only in the 2 locations stated a couple of times earlier in this thread, the rest need to be your local or Lan IP.

Seems strange then seeing as ive had people connect to my server by having all the IP's set as my net one.

And ur local IP is your lan IP, which is usually 192.168.xxx.xxx or if uve changed it by dhcp then its what ever uve changed it to.

All this about 127.0.0.1 and your router not suporting loop back, is rubbish. Seeing as the 127.0.0.1 is an internal IP address and has nothing to do with the router or ur internet.

Sorry possibly my terminology confused there - local IP to me is - for those without a network router just connectng via modem is 127.0.0.1
If you have a Lan/network router it will assign a 192.168.xxx.xxx number to each pc connected to it and in my tested case I could not get router to talk to a server hosted on 127.0.0.1 whereas it would on the Lan IP, there was no problem with Loopback which I personally have never seen a problem with, nor did I know from at least one online server that hosting via the Lan IP does not cause a problem. I'm Possitive Kaori knows what she's talking about I just personally have never seen a problem related to hosting via Lan IP or Loopback :)

As to having all IP's set to Net IP - I personally can't see how that would work......maybe Kaori can explain how it would? :)

a: get to bed earlier.
b: instead of 127.0.0.1 you could alternatively use Lan Ip (192.168.xxx.xxx) but this doesn't work well with all routers.
c: !setup would be nice added to above IdaBigA :)
