Magic Database

Ive been trying to add a couple of warriors spells to my magic database.

One copies "SoulSheild" from taoist, adding ac for x ammount of time. Ive changed the "job" and in the item database changed the book. Ingame the spell animation works and such, although it doesnt have any effect.

I also tried to make a warrior version of repulse, but to the same result.


Any help would be greatly appreciated, Xanan.

Man all the servers ownners try to change the db of the Spells. But all are disepointed by now. This think with books and spells is beat in nails. Only if u try to change this in M2server.exe, but this is very heavy, u must to know to work in Hex(machine-cod), i think, and i dont think i mistake.
This is the only different between 1.4 , 1.9 and 2.3 and DM , and of corse Mir3. Nothing i think U can do it for this.:dunce: :fthrower: unch:

This is my last reply anyway , and the spells cannot be modify just like that. My server now have no other problems. All work just fine!

At what point is he advertising?

Also, I thought to dupe a spell you have to just completely copy the database row into another and change the job+name.

The MIR2 Doom this is not part of his sig, its pasted in the reply.

Thats what ive done, it has no effect though.

U have to copy the actuall code is quite simple to do. I assume ur using the dm2.3 files? Try putting an sc kit on the warrior then i think it will work. The magic is programed to work only on a tao or wiz. Therefore it requires sc plus an amulet or just mc.
