no offense mate it takes great skill to make a good mmorpg to be truthful i bet you cant get a crappy 2d thing online and actualy get people playing. was gunna give an example but forgot the name. jicaa will know he told me about it he plays all these crappy lil games when hes lonely lol :P

study c++ for 2 years at work know alot but i dunno if i can be bothered with hassle =/ maybe ill give it a shot for lil bit. and u aint getting my cv lol :P

meh tbh just get mates from school / work (how eva old u r) and get them 2 help lol, i started a lil game project and i have a sounds expert a gfx expert a web designer and 2 people that know a few diff programing languages and they working without any pay lol :P much cheaper with just mates

www.google.com - Search for tutorials on there. Once you've learnt alot to make a game offline, then search for online game tutorials. Adjust your offline game for online play (It only needs to be basic, you dont need to go and make another lin2 on your own) then keep it going and get all the bugs out. Then you can use that to show people your knowledge of programming.

Here is a mad idea, Grab the source files to a known MMORPG, learn how to change them to your looks and bingo, a new game !!! Before you say your not making a MIR type MMORPG (2D Isometric) there is plenty of source files for 3D type games also, you just need to know where to look..
